Marui MK23 lightening the trigger pull?
Planning to acquire a TM MK23 and I know the trigger has a fair amount of pull to it. I was just wondering if it was possible to lessen the length or weight of the pull to increase the ease of use. Maybe swapping the return spring or something. Ideas?

The MK23 works like a double action pistol.
It's the hammer spring that you have to push against. If you lighten the trigger pull, you lighten the hammer strike and probably drop the FPS (which is already 280 tops). |

Learn to love it as it comes. It's a beast and a silent workhorse to say the least. I live mine and wouldn't change the trigger pull even though I use to hate the long travel and heavier than normal action.
If you get the 16mm-14mm adaptor, you can play around with different cans to change the sound. Sent from my universe to yours |

Or go with the KWA if trigger pull counts. It'll be louder though.

lol thanks guys XD alright so nothing will really alter the distance or weight eh? I figured since it's common for 1911's and hi-capas etc that maybe just MAYBE there was a way but it's alright i'll see how I feel about the trigger pull when I get my hands on it. I will be looking into silencers, as the one I am purchasing does not come with one, or the LAM unit. I don't really like the glossy look of the stock one anyway lol. Also, magazine wise, I was looking around online and found that STTI (Y&P?) brand magazines for the MK23 are fully compatible with the Marui MK23. That said, everyone and their mother was getting those magazines from a certain site which seems to no longer carry STTI brand magazines. Anyone have an idea where they are still carried? My searches yielded nothing... although it was mentioned Y&P was branded under KSC for a time?

Since the TM MK23 is a non-blowback pistol, the trigger pull loads a BB into the chamber as well as firing the gun. I don't think you can really change it.

So no, Y&P was not branded as KSC, it's just different. Good luck finding mags. TMs need to have the release epoxied to use propane and Y&P are not produced anymore... |

That is actually quite irritating. So the only option for magazines are Marui magazines which are 50$ a piece and can't take propane without modding them? I find 50$ for pistol magazines is WAY over priced, Marui brand or not. even 25$ is kinda pushing it for a pistol mag :/ IMO anyway. what about the KWA one or Umarex? any compatibility at all there?

whaaaaaaaat
pistol mags have always been $35-$45 each, for as long as I've been playing airsoft We should make it an ASC rule that you're not allowed to complain about mag prices unless you're buying PTW mags lol |

Just wait 'til he gets into real steel and starts paying those prices for a piece of stamped steel and a spring.
Mags are expensive when it comes to anything gas. Much different league than plastic molded AEG mags. |
