Custom Kydex holster's

Hey guys, so i am in need of a kydex holster, and i would love to get a custom one done for me, now the only thing i remember ( well at least i think i remember ) seeing in someones signature that they do custom kydex just PM them. Well i never it was something i was going to do eventually, and now i forgot his name and can't find it anywhere.

Another thing i was thinking about Safariland 6004 tactical holster's but my only question/concern is will they fit the lights i use. So i have 2 guns i would like done, TM 1911 w/x300 and a TM G17 w/ TLR-1 so my question will a Safariland fit those with guns/lights.

So if anyone knows or can point me in the right direction for getting a holster i would GREATLY appreciate it, or if anyone has any other suggestions on a good holster i am all ears!

mostly just looking for something high speed low drag of course who isn't now a days, but in all seriousness i was thinking about a Gcode MULE drop leg or something similar! Thanks a lot!

I tried contacting him and he doesn't do them anymore, he doesn't have much material anymore, we had a good conversation actually about holster's and G-code, just hoping to get something that i know that will fit, i don't want to spend $200+ on a few holster's to only find out they don't fit!

I still would love to know if anyone had any experience with the Safariland Holster's, again i don't want to buy them and then find out they don't work! Thanks!!

I can't see there being much money in making holsters.. definitely not worth the time imo. Unless you want to play with stuff.

I bought some molding foam and a few sheets of kydex to play with, but I doubt I'll be making any holsters for anyone any time soon.

I'm sort of in the same boat with holsters if I put a light on my pistols, I have 2 different pistols I rotate through and the serpas I have don't allow for use with any light, so if I want to ever put a light on, I'll have to make kydex ones with the light I want to use.

Yeah i wouldn't say there isn't much money either. but it is nice having someone able to do so, but i think really if i want to get a holster i just ditch the lights for the games i play with them and keep the lights as display's which really sucks.

But only if i knew about the safarilands, all the reviews i read or watch say NOTHING about what lights can actually fit, i think i might as well start looking around locally see if anyone will let me just try my pistols in there holster's

As someone who made holsters for a while, there is absolutely a profit on each holster (after materials and hourly wage), but what eats you is the market: Not many people want custom holsters in Canada.


If you have the space available, and about $600 in start up materials/equipment, you can make holsters almost identical to Raven Concealment without too much practice. Personally I found light combos an absolute pain in the ass to make, and never got it right, but standard pistols/knives/shotgun shells are simple and look great.

Yup there is a guy on facebook i do believe it is canadian custom kydex, he is also on here i do believe he is starting back up it is the guy who was mentioned on the second post Lanepratt

Yeah I have talked to him. However I would have to ship my pistol to him and it would take nearly a month before getting it back. With the MILSIM season starting in the beginning of April though I will need my pistol. I have a friend on another team that will be making me one as he has the same pistol and light to mold from, meaning no shippy shippy. Appreciate the response though guys.

I can Still do them, just finding the time is becoming a issue. I have some OD and Tan kydex coming to me monday I have one order for QKLEE and i should have enough for another one maybe two. you can pm here if you need somthing.

Just putting it out there but i own a company which make kydex holster and such lots of colors available PM for list 1-2 weeks wait time. Website not out yet but soon i hope!

I will be receiving my new holster from lanepratt on either Friday or Monday. I will post photos to promote the quality work then.
