Mk18 Mod 0 is pretty much a normal M4 with a 10.5" barrel, KAR RIS, Crane stock; the receiver and grip vary depeding who built it and when; they're often seen with an LMT rear sight. I've seen pics of some with Badger Ord charging handles.

Sometimes the Mk18 has an LE stock and I've seen reference pics of them with what appears to be a CAR15 stock as well.

95% of them I'd say have the LMT Crane Stock and LMT irons.

As for vert grip, most I've seen seem to have the KAC Vert Grip, but you could replace it with a Tango Down vert grip if you wanted to. Hell you could even toss a Vltor iMod stock on it if you really wanted to.

A flashlight with pressure pad (surefire, like all the leet special forces operators have) and Aimpoint (CompM2) RDS wouldn't be out of place either. As for mount, could be a Wilcox, could be a KAC Aimpoint mount. I think they have a thing for using Knights stuff though.

If you really want to tie it together nicely as well, you could also toss on a CQD sling plate and get a one point sling.

Mod 0 is simple. Get a CQBR style M4 with standard 7" handguard RIS, 10.5" barrel and KAC birdcage. Put on an LMT stock, LMT rear flip up sight, add the rest is essentially up to you. EOTechs are par for the course, but so are M2's, M3's and other dot sights. PEQ-15/16 and SureFire M3X with remote dual-pressure pad are commonplace as well. Everything else is personal preference at that point.

I disagree on some of this. When doing research for my own Mod 0, I found the most typical rear sight is the non-flip LMT rear sight (chopped carry handle). Also I think you have the accessories mixed up with the Mod 1. The M3X is probably too new, can't really comment on the PEQ though. Tac lights vary, but a Surefire M962 is what I decided on for mine. The most common PEQ box I've seen is the PEQ-2. Optics, I've seen ACOGs and Aimpoint COMP M2 on Wilcox mounts. Stocks, either the LMT (Crane) as mentioned or CAR-15 style. Suppressors would be the KAC QD. Many of them also have the KAC rail covers, either chopped or the smaller ones wherever there is nothing mounted.

All that being said, this is airsoft and if you're going for a 'general look' as I'm doing, there are a few things I would consider the minimum
- Definitely an Aimpoint with wilcox mount OR ACOG
- Crane stock or CAR-15 stock
- LMT rear sight
- KAC vertical grip

Along with the 7" KAC rail and 10.5" barrel. Also, paint it tan/brown and beat the shit out of it.
That is where I stopped. If I were to continue the build, I would get

- Surefire M962 clone
- KAC QD suppressor

and leave it at that.
