AEG recoil - Does it make a AEG more fun!
I played with my friends WE M4 GBBR and really like it although he has indicated his WE breaks down more often than his AEG.
I really have to say, the recoil is such a nice sensation. I couldn't imagine my 1911 or Glock with no recoil. What M4 AEG recoil systems out there really work well or are they still novelty upgrades? Don't bother. It's not really worth it as you will not get as much recoil as the WE GBBR.

You can't compete with GBBR's that being said, if you are set on an AEG that has some kind of recoil system, the Bolt looks to be the best right now, it's not as proprietary as the Marui is or the KWA's.

Gas guns require more TLC then AEGs and yeah they CAN breakdown more often but mostly because of a lack of regular maintenance. I run gas guns only, my WE AK is rarely down for the count and even then I do have a KWA MP7 and WA M4 as backup. Only once I've had to shelve one of my gas guns because it wasn't functioning.
Now on that video, that Bolt looks and sounds sweet...almost too good to be true.

Question was not matching the recoil of a GBBR with an AEG, or buying the Bolt M4, but to have some recoil with my existing M4s.
The question was, what aftermarket recoil kits out there that work well instead of buying a Bolt? I heard some will burning out your motors. I could not find a review that compares the different kits. Last edited by SuperHog; August 18th, 2013 at 20:24.. |

I don't even think that there are aftermarket AEG recoil add on kits.

If OP is willing to go front wired or already frontwired Modify has an addon kit that gives some amount of recoil to M4's, kind of like the new version TM Recoil guns.

The Bolt is rear wired.

yes, but as you have so clearly stated (not in your OP or thread title, but in a later post) you are looking for AFTERMARKET ADD ON KITS. The bolt is not an after market add on kit.
If you already have a front wired gun, or can switch a rear wired gun to front wiring, you could use the modify aftermarket add on AEG recoil kit. Hopefully that was clear enough...

All of my guns are rear wired which I prefer.
So there are no kits out for rear wired guns? Last edited by SuperHog; August 18th, 2013 at 22:09.. |
