AK47 and the m4 had a baby.
Am I the only one with an echo1 ocw? Just looking for other people's experiences with the particular ak.

Don't know about the Echo1 OCW specifically but the overall layout is pretty common (AK10x with rail and M4 stock adapter): Magpul AK, WE PMC, etc.
Mag changes aren't as quick and clean as on an M4 and you'll probably want to add some kind of tactical mag release; a magwell flange (like on the PMC) helps with reloads; you're using an AEG so you don't have to worry about the charging handle (which makes reloading an entirely new experience on the gas versions); stock AK iron sights are a PITA throwback to antique rifles so be ready to get some optics but beware mounting anything too big/heavy on the gas tube rail or everything becomes very front heavy real quick (a Micro T1 is good). Otherwise get an optic mount or AK sight (like Kobra).

What you mean is you would get the ultra rare incredibly badass SR-47, Knights Armament made em for guys going into Afgan caves, kicking so much ass they might need to reload from the dead.

Unfortunately the [real] SR-47s proved troublesome in the field and only a half dozen were ever made for USSOCOM; operators instead started fielding AKs, often modified to Western standards. Which brings us back to the original AK being discussed.
