ICS M1 Garand
Hey all, just ordered a ICS m1 garand today! How do you all feel about this ICS version of the iconic rifle? I would like to hear your thoughts good and bad about this weapon. I hear that its a pretty good AEG, what are your thoughts ?

Generally, you ask questions like this before buying a gun. Lol
I have yet to buy one, planning on it... But from what I hear its a solid shooter. I owned the ICS M3 Grease gun (Now owned by Pockets on this site) and it performed beautifully. |

It's not a bad gun. Built pretty well with good internals. You might want to reshim the gears as I found them to be substandard. Upgrading the motor to a high torque one is recommended. It's sluggish with the stock motor even with a 11.1v lipo. But this isn't a real issue. Just my preference.

Nice Nice and yes i should have asked before hand but they had the floor model on wall and it was a thing of beauty, Impulse Buy lol so i orded it ( i wont but floor model or handled weapon, as i am a collector and its a personal preference ) Glad to hear its a solid weapon, my g&g k98 has had nothin but problems i had to take it in after only 10 shots at a stupid low fps of 210 on high fps mag urrrg. I would have traded in for new one but i had already stripped refinished it to look like real kar98k. Before you ask i had to wait for the stupid 8g co2's to come in and figured since it was brand new it should have fired out of the box, lession learned.

The only M1 Garand AEG in the market so far. I have checked it out and found its body is a bit wider than my Marushin M1 Garand GBBR. Probably they need the space for the motor + gear box.
Other than that, a very solid WW2 rifle. |
