TM GLOCK 17 cycle issues
Hello,
I have a TM glock 17 with metal slide and upgraded spring. The problem is that recently it started having cycling issues. The first round would go off but the slide would not cycle fully to load a other bb. The mags where full at the time. If i cycle manually the gun for about 10 or so shots it will eventually start cycling fully. The general impression i get is that the magazine valve is too stiff. One there is less gas in the magazine, the hammer has less resistance and hits the valve, then enough gas gets released. I am guessing its a hammer spring issue. Any thoughts? Also, how hard is it to change this spring, and should i change anything other then the spring while i am at it? Any suggestions for a good gun doc that could do this for me if i am not up to it? thank you for your time. sam |

Try loosening the screw that holds down the metal frame right under your spring guide. If its to tight, it can cause the slide to be pulled down to much. That helped my cycling issue when I installed a new frame on my glock.
