G3 SG1 country of origin?

i would like to know where the country of origin or the main countrys that use the SG1 are. i have seen lots of Norwegians with the SG1 and would like to know of any others. i am interested in norwegian camo too but the only sites i see for it are in norwegian and i speak only english. any other countrys that use an SG1? i think switzerland (spelt wrong sry) i think i read about that or maybe poland. hmmm any insights?

its kind of like i want camo that goes with where my gun is from. in windsor we have the windsor spetsnaz who all have ak's and russian uniforms and stuff. just wondering. thnx for the time.

the G3 S/G1 comes from Germany (Deutschland) and is shipped all over the world.

Most police/military outfits that can't afford the Ps/g1 will buy the G3S/G1.

H&K recently got bought out by a company in the UK, so they now make all the H&K guns. Licences have also been sold to various countries such as Portugal & the US, as examples, to make H&K guns & accessories. But it WAS originally Germany that H&K was the pride of.

PSG-1's are like 20 grand, Fricken ridiculous when they can buy a couple of Dragonuv's instead of one measly psg-1.

HK was bought back from British Aerospace by a group of German investors several years ago and is again under German control.

Switzerland uses the H&K MP5 and MP5SD as submachine guns and the SIG-552 and Famas as Assault Rifle (but I once saw a picture of a Swiss soldier with a SG/1). Anyway, couldn't find any information on the Swiss Army's site so I'm not a 100% sure.

this comes right from HKpro
"The G3SG/1 is a sniper enhanced variant of the G3 rifle that was made at the request of the Deutsche Bundeswehr (German Army). It most closely resembles the G3 rifle, and retains almost all of the standard features. The differences are not readily visible to the eye. The barrels are hand picked for accuracy, and the standard buttstock has a slightly adjustable cheekpiece.

The G3SG/1 (SG stands for Scharfschützengewehr or sharp shooting rifle) has one of the most interesting trigger groups ever designed by HK. (See below) This is a trigger that combines the ability to "set" the trigger by pushing the button behind the trigger to the rear when in the semi-auto mode to give the firer the best trigger pull available from an HK rifle in this genre. This trigger when in set mode, is lighter and more crisp than the PSG1 trigger group. Further, and quite surprising, is the addition of full automatic capability on top of everything else. This appears to be a rifle designed to cover all contingencies. This trigger group is even more like a Swiss watch inside than even the ambidextrous burst groups. Quite a few of these rifles were imported by Class Three Supply and others several years ago, both as pre and post 86 dealer samples. They came in green wooden cases."
