Where to buy Thompson Hop Up?
Where can I find a hop up unit for the Thompson? The two tiny security tabs broke off due to a misalignment of the gearbox and now I seem to be SOL.
Does anyone know where I can buy one? Or if there is another unit that may be compatible? The closest thing I've found is on RedWolfe but they are out of stock. |

If you Google "airsoft gun repair.com" Then find the Gun Repair Index box at the top of the page. Page down till you find M1A1 parts catalogue. They have the hop up unit in stock for around $24.00. Seems to be a hard part to find but these guys have it. I have ordered stuff from these guys before and have not had any problems. I believe they re located in the states. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot. I just ordered the unit from them and got some selectors while I'm at it. Lost those pesky detents!
Then again, I just realized you don't really need those tabs on the hop up but I bought them anyways since they are so hard to come by. Thanks again. |

Good stuff bud. Another spot if you get in a bind for parts is Trinity airsoft, if you ask for Tyler ( I need to double check that name) he will source parts for you. They treated me real good there as well. So if you have a Thompson are you getting into WWII re-enacting, it is a blast and a good bunch of guys to shoot with.
