"Quieter" Buffer Spring

Hey Folks,

Finished my WA build not too long ago, wondering if anyone out there knows a good solution for my problem. When shooting the gun I can sometimes hear the buffer spring making contact in the buffer tube.

Anyone have any ideas how to make the spring "quieter"?

Thanks

It's one of those things I've learned to live with as a side effect of the AR-15 design. Grease might help, but it creates a mess.

Stiffer springs reduce the *twang* that you get from it, but in general, real AR's do this as well.
