AK not feeding with promy bridge hop

Hey all,
I have recently gone over to the proetheus smooth (no bump) rubbers with the bridge style nubs.
I have one im my m4 with a madbull 6.03 tightbore and it works great.
The other day i swapped one into my LCT AKM with an angrygun tightbore (6.04 i think they are) and didnt bother to test it. Today was nice out and i got my new bioshot 32's in so i decided to test em in all my guns. They work great in all my guns but my AK wont feed so i swap back to madbull 30's and still no feeding.
I dont get it cause the promy stuff works well in my other guns.
If i swap the hop back to a stock type or a madbull it works just fine
I dont quite understand what the heck is happening the baisic install is the same from m4 to ak meaning neither requires modification of the nub and when installed if you look down the barrel with the hop up off there is no "nub" entering into the barrel so no reason for jaming. Any ideas from those who have used this hop system or thos who know AK's well?
