" No its not the same thing and it's good stuff to have around "If I wanted to run duster how to I properly fill, lube etc the magazines and I heard difluroethane is bad for the magazine ?" If you're at a game someone else will have a can of propane.
Duster is more expensive, has a lower pressure (less FPS) and over time can screw up your mags. You can use it in a pinch but it's a serious pain to get the gas into the mag. Just keep an extra can of propane lying around, hell I keep a tank on me in the field. You'll have enough for 100+ pistol mags or 80+ assault Rifle mags.

How does duster screw up your mags over time?

Properly using propane with an adapter and some silicone oil lubes the mags for you while shooting. Duster doesn't, all the o-rings will dry out and you'll end up with leaky mags and needing to do maintenance and replacement more often.

You can add silicone oil to duster the same way.
Before people started using propane, eo nomine, the practice of adding silicone oil to duster was born since duster had no lubricants like pre-packaged "Green Gas" or "Blue Gas" (HFC134a with lubricants for use in airsoft guns)
