RS furniture on a WE AK PMC?

The WE AK PMC comes with tacticool furniture as standard. Now that's all well and good but what I want to do is build a replica of an East German MPi-KM rifle, basically an AKM, like the PMC is but with East German made plastic stock and grips. The East German furniture is plastic, so mods shouldn't be too difficult. Can the PMC accept real steel furniture without serious degrees of modification?

Below is the East German rifle I want to make.

As far as i remember, yes.
There should be a thread on Red Alliance about someone doing the same thing.

The PMC's stock uses an M4 stock adapter, which attaches to a regular AKM rear trunnion with single tang. Removing the adapter should allow you to install standard AK furniture (as long its the right type).

I currently have a WE AKM with real steel furniture and an AKS-74 made by PaulWes83 which also has all real steel furniture/muzzle brake etc.

I'd PM him or Latvian, both have done projects with real stuff. Paul has actually done several grips for me and from what I can tell, it wasn't that much work.
