It's been almost a month now since my 4th attempt to get AV'd through here. I've been trying for almost a year now (The 8th of march will mark my 19th birthday) And I've still gotten no age verification, and not even a response from the boards. I'm frankly fed up, and sick of waiting for some volunteer firefighter to clear it up.

The fact that ASC is the biggest influence of airsoft in Canada, it seems unrealistic that you'd have such a terrible system for getting members to actually get the privilege to take place. If you had any incentive of actually staying on top of airsoft management in Canada, surely you'd find a better system than this.

I also dont want to hear any bullcrap about "just be patient" because I've been goddamn patient for a year now. This isn't realistic.

OK assuming that NOTL stands for Niagara on the lake and not North of the line or some other thing. Then Cooney had an age verification event 4 days ago in hamilton which is an hours drive from NOTL. Cooney takes his verifications seriously and i guarantee you follows through. Reading your post though That doesn't seem to be the problem, you are alleging that you have met an age verifier , shown your id, jumped threw the hoops waited patiently and... nothing. I would be very frustrated if that happened to me and by the second time i would be keeping track of who,where, etc. SO we are all friends here .. Lets have it-be specific who and when and where did you meet? If there's an age verifier not pulling their weight, let's hear about it.
Also if you think of a better way to do age verifying spit it out.

also keep in mind that people who AV do it voluntarily - firing out insults will not help your cause.

Last june, your info was submitted but it seems you fell through the cracks.

Your attempt last january has been submitted but hasn't been processed yet. Just like all the others for the last month or so.

So, sit down, relax and, yes, be patient.

Oh and yeah, Insults to the staff won't help your case in anyway. This isn't McDonald's or Walmart.

We do have age verifiers quit without telling us, move, have babies and drop airsoft for awhile, take long vacations, get caught up in work, make the odd mistake when posting info, etc.

We also don't have verifiers on every square inch of the map, and they aren't responsible for driving the distance, and/or making time; you are. Luckily there are active verifiers at many shops around Canada, so Jump in your car and head on down to your nearest major center. Also large events usually have a couple wandering around; you can try that to.

They are updating the system all the time, and it works well; has for several years in fact. Like everything, mistakes are made and patience is a virtue.

If you've met with an age verifier already, and something happened with your info, then I can see your frustration. I would have done as suggested and posted when, who, where, etc so it can be looked into by staff. If it is a matter of your local AV'er not having the time for you, well then too bad. Move onto your next closest or available rep and offer to meet the Whenever and wherever it's convenient for them. We have lives; and our friends, families, jobs, pets, living spaces, finances, etc will always take precedence, as we don't get paid.

Speaking of pay, did you pay for this service? No? Hmm, thankfully it's provided for free from the wonderful individuals here at ASC. Please forgive our customer service department if they're less inclined to take your insults seriously, and expect you to act your age.

Did you make another post earlier to an alternate AV rep, or to ASC querying on the time it has taken? A year seems a long time to wait. Or did you wait a long time with no result, and instead of looking into it decided to fly off the handle?

I just looked through as to why that happened: as it turns out the DOB on your account is totally different than the info submitted to the verifier, and I guess you neglected to mention that fact to the verifier (twice). So the AV was rejected, not a fuckup.

PM me with your DoB so I can confirm the account is actually the person that got verified.

And your info was submitted twice, so I dunno about "four attempts."

Thanks for clearing the problem up.

Also, four attempts was going through my verifier four times. Whether or not he actually attempted to verify all four times is out of my knowledge.
