Where could I buy some locally? TIA.

Save yourself some money buy the Coleman camping cans of propane and a AI gas fill kit and your set. GG and propane are the same thing you just pay more for less when it comes to GG.

If you're dead set on GG I last got some at TA, but I've been just using coleman tanks after that ran out.

I just shot until I can't smell propane anymore.... Didn't take long lol.
Toronto Airsoft has some GG cans last I saw. Honestly though, smell aside it's MUCH cheaper to just use Coleman tanks and an adaptor.

do you want to use GG instead of propane just because of the smell?

If the floor of your basement begins to look like its flooding.. it might be time to lay off the propane for a bit.

So do a lot of other people. I often run my GBB/R's in my bedroom when testing/tuning. Besides, green gas only smells incrementally better, like a school girl, but you are still breathing in propane. Better for your system to recognize that it's inhaling propane then something that has a fragrance to mask it.
If it's the smell that gets to you, then it's doing its job. Crack a window or turn on a fan. Propane displaces oxygen so think about it. |

From what I gathered, Duster is significantly weaker than GG/Propane. I don't know for rifles, but for pistols, if the weapon has a metal slide or overall heavier moving parts, it might not cycle properly. Just check if you can run it before

How would I fit an AI adapter to a duster can: the can has no threads like a propane tank. Is there a trick to it? |

The AI adaptor has a spigot/tube as part of the kit. You can either stick it on the AI adaptor to make the filling nozzle longer (easier filling for some mags) or just put it directly onto the nipple of the duster can.
Have you ever taken the nozzle off of a spray can? They have that little stump of a straw under them...the AI nozzle fits on that. |
