Shipping Five Rifles...

Anyone have any suggestions as to how I should package five rifles? Two AR's, a full-length bolt-action, and two MP5's (full size). I'm scratching my head.

I do not have the original packaging (I bought all these guns 4+ years ago).

Any tips/suggestions you can throw my way would be immensely appreciated.

That sounds both heavy and time consuming.

Any idea where I can find a box that big? I tried the mall and the grocery store and no luck.

Take 5 rifle boxes, insert a rifle in each, then tape them together.

Try a company that sells water softener/ conditioners, some of those tanks are about a foot in diameter and chest high so the boxes they come in might work

Send a message via MSN to Styrak
I would recommend boxing them separately, or the two AR's together, then the two MP5's together, then the sniper rifle separate.
I would also recommend sending them like that (3 separate packages)

An autobody shop usually has some boxes kicking around in different sizes. I just threw away a couple that would fit m4s, mp5s just fine....

You could also build cardboard boxes out of existing boxes just over lap the cardboard about 6inch on the seams and hot glue and tape or just tape em well with some 2 sided tape between the overlapping parts.
Or go to canadian tird the have so actually half decent hard cases for 20 bucks each

Stop by your local grocery store. Ask for a box that bone-in pork loins come in. Depending on who their supplier is you should get the perfect box. I believe excel has the best pork loin box if I recall correctly

yeah only problemis you need to order 15 minimum.

the golf bag boxes are probably better.. they're are wider to fit the height of a rifle and then some so you can properly insulate/buffer it against drops and such. And minimum order 5.
