M14 Brands/ M14 owners help

Hello I plan in the future on getting a M14 Full length doing some research I found

CYMA M14 not to bad tons of grease in the gearbox/ Slow ROF / Motor Wires soldered on

Echo 1 - Is supposed to be a "rebrand" thats I hear echo1 is of CYMA .. with some Upped Parts and 2 Hi Caps

Classic Army - I found to be alright I just dont like the different color on the heat shield ( Its two colors)

G&G - Has a functioning bolt catch. Tight Bore.. Expensive Magazines

G&P Probably the best m14 but I dont like the hand grip not my style

Tokyo Marui - Dont want to spend that much ..

Any body own any m14s from these brands what are your thoughts.

Would it be better to go with a cheaper brand CYMA, ECHO1 and upgrade it

Or go G&G but the problem with that is expensive magazines... Bolt Catch is nice but not a necessity

Anyways thoughts, comments suggestions

Thank you

Probably about 350 with magazines .. Other magazines can be bought later but then I would need a pack for m14 style mags..
I know if I go with G&G probably run about 4 magazines Mid caps running 28 x 3 and they only use G&G magazines compared to other m14s take most clones a cyma mid cap I seen go for 11 bucks

Avoid Echo1 and Cyma. G&P if you have to. Best M14 "by far" is the TM with a full Guarder FTK, or an RA-Tech custom open bolt.

A fellow team member has a stock echo 1 m14 and it outranges all other AEG's and most sniper rifles at every game we go to. After 1 season of hard gaming it's still running strong

You've basically summarized it pretty well. there's nothing particularly wrong with any of them, just tradeoffs.

Depends on your aims.

Do you want a fun AEG to play with and use it like an assault rifle? If your answer is yes, the Cyma will do a good job.

Do you want a very accurate rifle that is one shot, one hit, that can also double as a sniper rifle? If your answer is yes, get a Tokyo Marui. It's by *far* the most accurate M14 on the market.

As for the G&G and the Classic army, they are the same. Classic Army cloned G&G. They are decent M14 by all means, but they have proprietary gearboxes and use proprietary, expensive mags. No one will really recommend those because of that.

the CA mags sometimes jam on BBs.. their springs are pretty crappy.

Although I don't own one yet, I've done a fair bit of research. I've concluded to go cyma since it's %100 tm compatible at a fraction of the tm price.

Occasionally there is a sweet tm m14 in the classifieds. That's kinda what I'm waiting for lol

I would use the rifle as a assault weapon . I wouldn't mind all the accuracy I can get as for saying the Tokyo Marui M14 the most accurate

Not exactly by the video still think the G&P m14 is better out the box

The CYMA has some descent accuracy too
CYMA M14 (CM032) Airsoft Electric Gun Range and Accuracy Test -ASTKilo23- - YouTube
CYMA M14 fixed accuracy test - YouTube

But what about going CYMA and later replacing the hop up and barrel not sure but could surpass the other m14s listed

There's been a rash of cyma's with crappy hop ups lately, so upgrade that before anything else

the TM m14 hop has different mounting posts for the barrel and uses specificl m14 barrels cut to fit these posts... the cyma as far as I know is a clone but cut to fit regular barrels. I don't know if the manufacturing tolerances are as exact as the TM.. that's why people like the brand so much.

Based on my experience, I picked up a used G&G MAX for cheap. Cylinder was shot. It had been thouroughly abused for 2 years by the previous owner running a lipo. Replaced the cylinder, cleaned out the dirt and mud. Gearbox was still mint. Running Lipo myself now for over a year and a half. Out shoots a lot of more expensive guns. Shop for mags. Found some last winter for $22 new.
