Integral suppression LOOK M4 AEG

I own a King Arms OA-15 M8. I have always been intrigued while surfing
AR-15 forums and their amazing forums about integral suppressed ARs.

I want to achieve a similar look with my OA-15 with the suppressor protruding a little more from the rail.
My gun has an 8 inch rail system So I was looking for a VERY small outer barrel (2inches) OR ADAPTOR
and attaching a 6 - 7inch barrel extension to it so resembles an integral suppressed AR.
The rail systems diameter is an inch and three eights at its smallest point so the suppressor diameter would need to be smaller then that.

Does anyone know a better way of doing this?

OR where I can find a very short outer barrel/adaptor?

THANKS FOR YOUR HELP I WILL POST PHOTOS OF THE PROGRESS!!

Just buy a short outer barrel (shortest in stock one i seen was at airsoftparts.ca 7.5inch) and a silencer in the appropriate length.
Or u can ask airsoftdepo.ca if the will get anymore of the 5inch outer barrel they are out of stock
Then chose the length of silencer u need airsoftpartz has em from 110mm way up to 245mm with a few sizes inbstween and they are 30-45 mm in diameter and he also has 1 and 2inch berrel extensions so u can likely find the right combo to get the length u need for the look your goin for

Or if u know of a local machine shop u can have them cut and rethread the outer barrel to the last lil wide spot or prolly yer lotal mechanic could cut the barrel at the back end then cut a section of the front end to the length u need and weld it back on the base of the barrel.
There i thinks that covers about all yer options

No worries just be carefull where you cut to rethread youll need one if the thick parts to rethread so maybe the cut and weld option is better if u wanna go really short on the barrel.
Id prolly first find a silencer that works for u then adjust the length of the barrel to fit. Also id take a close look at the barrel it may alrdy be a 2 peice or like my first m4 it may just have a crappy tube starting halfway down that just held to the front and base with set screw.
There are other short barrels but they come with whole front sets so the cozg like 70 bucks or more so i figured you prolly didnt wanna go that route

The easiest way would be to buy a 14.5" outer barrel or something for like $30-40. Otherwise madbull has barrel extensions, I'm sure other companies have them as well they're not that hard to make.

?? Im not sure u got what the OP is trying to do. They want go have as short of an outer barrel as posible then they want to run as long a silencer as they can inside the rail system out to the front for the integrally suppresed look

In that case id suggest u just hack off the barrel at the hump by yer hand and buy a 2inch barrel extension for 10 bucks and weld it on to the hump or cut it a lil longer thread it 14mm- and just screw the 2inch extension on

If its just for the "look" leave everything as is. Get someone to roll some sheet metal to a diameter that fits inside your rail but large enough to fit over an existing mounted suppressor. If you need it to look pretty, make an end cap.

You are simply just making a slip over suppressor extension. It is mounted via the original suppressor to the outer barrel. JB weld them together and go shoot your buddies.

I don't know where I went wrong I read it then was thinking of the opposite of what the OP wanted.

I believe there are 4" Outer barrels out there. Deepfire makes one but it's pretty pricey at $80 (however it does come with an inner barrel and hop up unit). If the OP wants to use that just swap out the inner barrel with a longer one and mount a suppressor on the end of that:

http://redwolfairsoft.com/redwolf/ai...ner_Barrel.htm

I also believe I've seen kits like that made by JG and Element before too.

There's also the Arrow Dynamic outer barrels they come in a variety of sizes from 40 mm to 70 to 140mm so that could do the trick for a super short OB. After that it's just a matter of finding a suppressor long enough to make it look good.
