Good quality Assault/DMR potential gun for a $500ish budget

Im looking for something that I can use in local skirmish games, milsims eventually. Will be running with atleast a 2 man crew that has an hk 416(VFC).

I want something I can use now to run around with but that I can also modify in the future(change spring, etc,- attach a 4x optic) to give us SOME DMR capability as a squad- not sniping just not wanting to be outranged. Mind you it doesnt have to be a $800 build right away just looking for something with quality externals and decent internals that can be upgraded. Will mostly play woodland

Right now Im considering the

Quality G3 (CA?)

Sa58 Carbine (CA)

preferrably not an m4(personal bias)

CA mp5 with fixed stock

EDIT: schizophrenia removed

You're all over the map here. That thing's as close to an M4 as you can get.

Real issues you'll see will be harder to find magazines and pouches to carry them in.

I heard the SRC 416 is very heavy. I'd go with VFC. G36c is a practical choice if you dont want an M4.

Well if your buddy is using a stanag variant, using M-4 mags, wouldn't it Be easier to have something that takes the same mags?

Why not just get a kjw kc-02? Its a gas gun so your airsfot kewl factor is there, but its also a reliable gun for about 350 bucks. Its primarily a dmr, but you could change it to a sniper if you wished. It only has semi fire, not auto.

I have heard nothing but good reviews about it.

Don't discount a good pistol!

Also half of airsoft is looks. Ever seen an MP5 DMR? 9mm doesn't have the greatest power or ballistics, haha.

FPS means nothing, you can change that with a $15 spring.
