i want to upgrade my Cybergun sig 556 sauer just so it shoots farther and a a bit faster with out completly rebuilding the gun. mainly making more compression, and motor for more bb's per second.
i believe i already have a m120 spring in it a 6.03mm barrel and bucking.

if anyone knows information about this gun i would like to know more about it.

id like tho know where to get very good quality parts and whats the best recommendation as to what parts i should get to do this.

i believe im shooting around 310-330fps? around there. i havent chronoed it. id like to get it up to around 400fps.

If you want to shoot at a higher FPS, get a stronger spring. (EDIT: actually scratch that, you should be shooting higher with that spring)
If you want to shoot farther, do the above and get a better hopup rubber and/or inner barrel.
If you want to shoot at a faster RPM, change your motor to something more fast/powerful, or get a more powerful battery, or both.

With an M120 you should be shooting near 400fps, so yes they're definitely some compression issues with your gun. It may just be the piston o-ring, or may be any or all of the cylinder/compression parts.

m120 should be 380-420 depending on the spring.

check the barrel to hopup compression and nozzle to hopup compression.. if you can strip the outerbarrel or flashider off to expose the inner barrel, try pulling the inner barrel towards the gearbox while shooting through a chrono... if you get higher fps you have an air leak outside the gearbox... There's a few things to do about that...

new bucking, teflon tape around the bucking to seal it in the hopup better.

Beyond that you have to open the gearbox to test compression, and in most cases fix your front end compression as well, since it's all interrelated.

my gun doc told me its shooting around there. and the other thread i didnt really describe my gun enough, and im not used to this site yet, i got confused and gave up trying to edit and stuff. so i just made a new 1. alright thanks guys! i will be ordering a double o-ring piston with some ppolycarbonate thing on it. Getting my gun doc to order all tehe parts for me so i dont mess up. im just gunna change close to everything that deals with the compreswsioin but not to over do it and blow up my gear box.

any suggestions on what brands i should trust?

Well, considering your Doc is taking care of the parts, I think you can just trust his judgement.

A lot of recommendations also depend on your play style, your budget, etc. There's a lot of parts out there that we could 'recommend', but none particularly would be useful if you're not using them in the way they're designed.

trying to keep it under 200$. and i usually like to play nice and sneaky or shoot from far and still hit you, but you cant hit me, if that describes it correctly

I think the objective of upgrading is getting the most performance out of your gun without it wearing your gun down. You can easily get it up to 400 fps with an M120 but that will cause a lot of stress on the gearbox. I think its all about the compression and hop up. I think you should invest in a lonex cylinder, cylinder head and air nozzle with some hopup rubbers and an H hop mod. Metal chambers also keep the compression up. If you want a reliable gun that wont cost too much you should choose between ROF of FPS. From what you said in the thread starter i would recommend a high torque setup. Either way, you should get a new motor. I heard the SRC ones are good. If you want a high ROF setup then you'll need deans and 11.1 lipo batteries. Yu can get 11.1s from hobby king for 10$
