TM Glock 18c - Jamming After Upgrades!
Hi, I recently upgraded my gun, but now it jams periodically like this:
These are the upgrades I made: - Firefly Valve - PGC Slide - Guarder Enchanced Recoil/Hammer spring The Firefly valve sometimes comes out of its "groove" but I dont know if this is normal or not. Can someone please tell me what the problem is and how to fix it? Thanks! Last edited by golomons; September 25th, 2012 at 05:20.. |

not sure what you mean by this;
The Firefly valve sometimes comes out of its "groove" Is it the nozzle that's jamming? Can the nozzle be pushed back when it's jammed open? did you remember to put the nozzle return spring back in the BBH? Is it in on the right side? Did the nozzle return spring get jammed and deformed? Your guarder hammer spring may cause the hammer to press up on the BBH and make it harder for the slide to return to battery. Try lubing the area where the hammer is making contact with the BBH. |

Not sure what's going on, but did you "lube" the nozzle and stuff inside the BBU with silicone oil?
Let too much silly oil (the light watery stuff) in there and the o-rings get swollen up causing jams similar to the image you posted. The watery stuff is for swelling things up like o-rings to keep seals intact, not for lubrication.. the thick slimy stuff is for that. Your image looks like an example of what I just described.

I tried making a Race Glock 17 and 18. almost all aftermarket parts out there for this gun sucks. make it stock, upgrade the hammerspring and the short pull trigger. then your golden. if you want to swap out your lower because it was tinted, what i suggest is buying an actually TM one.
oh and its the Recoil spring jamming it I had the same problem with mine. |
