gas spraying out of propane tank after fill?
I have a propane adapter that I bought off ebay, its green and plastic. Lately on the last few fills it has been spewing propane out the nozzle even after filling, for a good 8-10 seconds post-fill. Ive noticed the fills have been spewing a lot lately as well. I just lubed my o-ring for the adapter and hopefully it will fix it, has anyone else had this problem before?

Because it's a cheap knockoff and the nozzle is getting stuck, leaving the valve open. Get the original - Airsoft Innovations

Or the Madbull Metal, if you don't want to unscrew the whole adapter for lubing.

You probably made the problem worse by lubing your o-ring since oil will cause the rubber to swell. Actually, now that I mention swelling, that's probably what happened. Using oil in the adapter probably got into the o-ring after so many uses. Same idea with hopup rubbers - do not let oil get in there.

Don't get the madbull metal. It leaks and it sticks. Also, it has the potential of damaging you fill valves cause it's metal tip on metal fill valve. Put 2-4 drops of oil on the top of the propane tank prior to screwing on the AI propane adapter.
Easy as pie. If it doesn't fill properly after that don't overlook the possibility of you having a defective tank. Just by a new one or 3 pack. There cheap enough. I've had bad tanks in the past that don't work well with my adapter. Cheers, FACE

If you're breaking the tips, maybe you're filling incorrectly? I've had my AI for years and it hasn't failed on me yet. Honestly though, I'd rather buy a new AI adapter rather than deal with broken magazine fill valves. Replacing fill valves is seriously a bitch.
