ROF difference (help needed)

okay i have a vfc sr15 upgraded it my last up grade was my classic army x series motor at 360 fps at 19-20 bps now a month later after running an 11.1 like twice using 7.4 from then. why is my gun only shoots 15-16 bps and allso another factor that im not sure if it would effect rof is the lipos i used to test it when i first installed it. one had a 15 c dump and the one i currently use has a 5c dump

11.1 Lipo with 15C will pull the motor faster and harder than a 7.4 Lipo with 5C.

Example:

11.1 @ 15C > 11.1 @ 5C
11.1 @ 15C > 7.4 @ 15C
7.4 @ 15C > 7.4 @ 5C

soo could it possible i fried the motor using the 11.1 cuz i know classic army is good brand or the rafe of fire difference is because i used 15c to test first and when i went to check again i was using a 5c

no no

when i tested my gun i was using 7.4 lipo but im not sure what the c rating is
and it shot 19 bps
i USED an 11.1 15c lipo for 2 airsoft session i kinda went overboard then i switched back to my 7.4 lipo.

and i just tested the rate of it today with a 7.4 1400mah 5c lipo and it only shot 15-16 bps.

and i noticed the 7.4 5c lipos get warm after i doo 100rounds full auto

is it that the lipo i used to test was stronger then the lipo im using now or
did i fuck up my motor

also i read something sayen that if your lipo isnt strong enough (c rating) to run your gearbox it gets warm and its bad or something just wanna comfirm if its truee

If your draw too much amperage from a LiPo you can cause it to light on fire.
Did you do any research on LiPo's before you started using them??

i ran lipos through my gun before it was fine but now im wonder why my new lipo is making my gun shoot slower

I'm not sure if you've made a typo or not...but the 5C part is what I think TC is referring to. Is it not a 15C battery?

At that rating (which is a burst/startup/surge number...not the sustained number)....your battery is putting out a theoretical 7A. This is subpar for what your/any AEG needs. The system wants to draw much more than that...and the battery is struggling past it's specs to deliver it. The chemical process generates heat as a waste product and if lipos get hot enough they'll boil their chemicals and risk bursting their packaging. The "boiling" process can be very sudden...and the gases are toxic and flammable.

Why would the ROF be different that when you used it a long while ago? It's because your switch is wearing (not permitting as much current to flow), your motor is wearing (less efficient), your wiring/connectors could be oxidized.

If you don't know enough about LiPo's to know that 5C is extremely dangerous, you should REALLY stop using LiPos before you do some serious fire damage to your house!
