Where to buy
Okay, i already know that nobody will give me links.
But, I already bought few airsoft, and im looking for something new. I own a Well-Warrior L96 and a M4 that i paid about 200$. I prefer to play as a sniper but I'd like to find wich brand could offer me what i want. The famous SocomGear M82a1 is quite interesting, but i'd like to know if it's an accurate airsoft, that can shot far enough..... i know their prices and the sniper gameplay. I want some technical information from someone else than those that builded it. Also, i looked for some g36c and a Mg36.... wich company could offer the best in durability and accuracy AND range.... I saw somes from 3 websites that should be common (007airsoft, airsoftgi and buyairsoft) but, before buying i'd like to know wich brand could be the best, regardless of prices..... Ares make some and i can't get some from g&g.... If someone could tell me that the socom barret is a beast, i'd go for it, but if not i'd like to get a really nice g36 or mg36 |

First: who talked about importation?
Second: i want some technical information like accuracy, and which is the beat brand.... Its not illegal to say that you prefer a company for any reasons that you want. Third: I looked on google, but guess what, every brand claims to be the best ones and the cheaper......... I want REAL feeling from used players that know more about that then me.... Obviously, it seems that you didn't read all what i said, i clearly said that I KNOW that i won't get any website from users ... Read it again and i let you guess if your answer was usefull.... |

^drop the attitude man. you came here for help you wont get far mouthin off like that.
the m82 is beast in a sense that you wont be as mobile with it. it's heavy as hell. accuracy all comesdown to you tuning it properly, imo. ra-tech's stuff is a must for the m82 and theirs is a gbbr which is an lalternate option if you want a gas route.

hemm, sorry mate. From what it looks like i second the "heavy as hell" part. But on the bright side you can use it as weights for weight lifting

Put in some effort into the looking for info then, Google and youtube has reviews on that gun (Youtube especially).
And DMRs are not the best gun for new players getting into the game, get a good AEG before you decide on getting a DMR. That 200$ M4 depending on what it is will be better off for you if you upgrade it (unless it's a cheapo clearsoft). |

sorry if it looks like i was mad, i meant that the answer was totally useless....
so, the m82 is available in canada and can be a beast with upgrades? and for the m4, no money on a clear gun probably better then walt-mart or canadian tire but worst than an airsoft retailer.... but, in canada, wich brand is the "best"? i mean that i could pay 500$ for a gun and get a crap.... so available here, wich provide the best stock gun? |

There are "best brands" and then there are "brands I'd feel safe recommending to an excited kid who would probably cry if it broke". In other words, there are brands for high expectations, high maintenance people and then there are brands for easy-going pragmatic people. I suspect you are high maintenance. Therefore, I wouldn't recommend that you buy a G&P... But I'd easily recommend it to my teammates, most of whom are gun techs and can handle a few initial bumps in the road. I also wouldn't recommend any ACM (lower-cost Chinese, i.e. CYMA, etc) guns to you because while they are absolutely amazing values if you are handy with a mechbox, they also require too much work for a noob. To the person who absolutely must be able to game their rifle 20 minutes after buying it, I feel pretty safe recommending Tokyo Marui, VFC, Classic Army, King Arms, and KWA. Stay away from sniper rifles. If a time machine was invented and you got access to it 10 years down the road of your airsoft career from now, you would go back in time and tell yourself not to get a sniper rifle. Don't get a sniper rifle.

You can get pretty much any gun in Canada, however you have to be Age-Verified on here for that.
I can't speak for the M82, but for a G36C notable brands you should look at are KWA, ARES or Classic Army. WE and VFC make a gas-powered one if thats your thing.

There is no "best" airsoft gun. Every gun out there requires some bit of tuning. The "best gun will be the one you buy and ultimately tune.
There are various manufacturers who make gameable guns out-of-the-box, but the type of gun you're interested in will affect which of those manufacturers you should be looking at. You can take a $200 ACM gun and turn it into a reliable bush beater with work and money. You could also spend $2000 on a PTW and end up having it die during a rainstorm. For a stock gun, opinions vary. Good out-of-the-box guns would include VFC, TM, CA & RS. But again, it depends on what you're looking for. Also, you're new. SEARCH the forums. KEEP your questions in the Newbie Tank, if you want to avoid being flamed. READ. A LOT. Your question has been answered many times before, and the debate of who makes the best type of gun has been discussed to death. If people here come off as a little jaded or peeved, that's probably because we've seen your exact same question many times before, it's been answered many times before, and we're just getting a little bit sick to death of seeing the same questions 5-10 times a week. Also, welcome to ASC. Now go to the Newbie Tank and introduce yourself. |

Also, who the eff wants to lug around a 25 lb "sniper rifle" that won't do much better than an AEG without heavy mods??
