Mapul Masada ACR

Hi everyone, even thou i know this might not be the right place to post, but i have no choice and do need little advise help for my Magpul Masada ACR.

Not ACM,A&K,Cyber.

But anyways, heres the problem, BB's aint feeding properly, everytime i tried to fire, everything get clogged and end up dibbles with bb's rolling out the barrel. i've tried all brands of bb's available in the market. But still doen't work, so that minimized 1 issue thats not the bb's size matter.

A tech had looked over it and said there's nothing wrong with the inner barrel, and said its a very good quality tight bore. (So he said).

So i'm thinking there's a high chance for hop up issues and the bucking itself, for my own curiosity i'm gonna change a different tight bore.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

You might wanna try different mags. Also check to make sure your hop-up and bucking is installed properly. Also, the tech that you took it to is pretty bad at what he does if all he could tell you is that your inner barrel is fine as opposed to diagnosing and fixing your misfeed issue.

LOL.. Thats what i told him right away. I've tried few different mags from OEM Magpul to Pmags to m4 mags, They all perform the same dribble. No hard on.

I'll get the hop up unit, bucking and the inner barrel changed.

Thanks for the advise help. Greatly appreciate it. Will keep everyone updated if the fix works?

Could be related to the slightly undersized air nozzle?

That's the only thing I can think of.

It's really like a trouble with your nozzle I think. I never had any trouble with mine. Did you change something, inner... ?

Bought it brand spanking new and only fire off less than 10 rounds and boom kinder surprise . Pure disappointment . But I don't know if the retailer did anything or was sold to someone and got returned. I gave the retailer last fix if doesn't work, he'll have to pay me for parts I've replace to get it back up and running.

You could be right but I'll hate to crack open the mechbox and do a fix when something brand new . If there isn't lack of magpul Masada acr out in the market, I would have returned and exchange.

Totally sucks on my end.

Can you take some picture of your nozzle, I will compare with mine. (I only need the right side where's your nozzle, don't remove all parts)

If you have any warranty beware but if not, you can remove each part of you easly

(don't listen too much how he doesn't like his masada, the guy modified too much the gearbox and he exploded it during a game...)

If your trouble is due to the nozzle or the hop up, I found this ( never tryed but installation at http://www.wiitech.com.hk/eshop/prod...roducts_id=331 )
http://www.ebay.ca/itm/WII-TECH-Masa...item3cbe9b2c29

You can check with spartan for the original part ( and ask to your retailer, for a new part, check explode view for the part number )

Ok everyone, first of i like to thank all you guys for the great help. ThE_Silencer,
L473ncy,Sammer & Watdapakman. Thank you guys for the help and advise.

So i've finally fixed the issue. Things i've had to replace. And its a MUST... 1st- New Bucking, 2nd- New inner Barrel ( madbull tightbore ) also Making sure the outer barrel lever is lock in tight not loose.

Now this baby shoots like a beast. No more dribbles or misfeed. Ooooweeeee!!!! Can`t wait to test it out on the field.

Once again THANKS A MILLION, YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME!!!!.

Cheers.

i had 2 friends who bought them new and had the same problems right out of the box. Most of one of the guns problems was the mags, but still had feeding issues. the other gun had a modification done to the feeding tube (filed down) where the mags go , and that Masada has worked fantastically without any problems. And both were the magpul acr's aswell. So i would look into that maybe. Those guns are built pretty well so im thinking it could be a small design flaw (such as feeding tube)
hope this helps

I'm so glad mine is trouble free. Though it only seemed to like PTS mags anything else was hit or miss. Meh whata expect from a PTS gun, it wants you to use its awesome PTS mags.

That's the only problem, with the pmag that came with it gave the same problem.

Found out not to be the mags. It's mostly the cheap clear bucking and them cheap bronze inner barrel. Replace them both works like a charm for me now. Even with m4 mags. But you guys are correct too of magpul wanting us only use their pmags for a better feed.
