king arms m4 big rps loss
Hey guys hopefully someone can help me out. I recently changed my cylinder, piston, piston head and cylinder head. The gear box was re shimmed and once it was all back together I have gone from 27 rps to 19 rps.
The gear box doesnt seemed to be shimmed to tight it spins perfectly when the piston is out. It probably does about 3-4 revolutions when the case is together if you try to spin it. Do king arms need to be shimmed looser then other gearboxes or something? I just cant seem to figure out how I'm losing 8 rps. Thanks |

What piston did you put in? Was it some heavy ass monstrosity?

If you installed a full-toothed metal piston, and used the same spring, you added more weight to the system AND more pressure from the bearing piston head and spring guide.
Also what Thunder said. |
