Get the King Arms M4, it's a great deal.
Don't forget that to play at Splatters, and really at most games, you will need to downgrade the spring in your gun -- that goes for pretty much all the guns in your list. Get the shop you buy at to do it for you and insist that they ensure that it is feeding and firing correctly in the chrono before you accept it back from them ( a common source of first-time-buyer delays in getting to the "fun time"). Hope that helps

As much as I like VFC, I voted for King Arms since it's looks nice and is inexpensive. The biggest thing for me is that King Arms seems to fit more brands of mags better than VFC in my experience.

Best advice I can give you is to get a base gun and make it your own. I've bought so many accessories and have discovered that the don't fit the style of my play or that they arn't comfortable for me. If you get a base M4 you can put the stock, barrel, flash hider, optic grip that you want.

With that in mind, I'd recommend either a King Arms, Classic Army, or G&P M4. You have quite a few different guns on your list. What specifically do you want? Don't know? Then go to a few games and rent until you find out.

I am speaking from experience here. I absolutely love the G3 SG-1, so I bought it as my first gun. Turns out that its very long for me and didn't suit my style of play. So I ended up selling it for $200 less than I bought it for. AR's are a good choice as there are an almost endless combination of parts and accessories. Take it slow, but an item and try it out before buying something else just because it looks cool. The accessories on your gun should compliment your style of play and make you more effective, not make you tired cause you are running around with an extra 8 lbs of useless gear on your gun.

I suggest starting with one gun at about 340 fps. That way you can use it both inside and out. A *100 spring will give you that fps.

+1 on that however, only thing i found with the King Arms is that they work with like all brands except their own, I've never found King Arms mags to feed in my KA M4

Honestly it's probably easier to get 2 guns. I know it can be cost prohibitive at the start but at least you're not constantly swapping the springs in and out when you go from indoor to outdoor and constantly opening the gearbox is never a good idea.
A gun with a quick change spring/upper (eg. Ares or ICS or a SystemA PTW if you can front $2000 for the gun and cylinders you need (black and blue/gold cylinders)) could be a choice but then again it's still easier at the end of the day to get 2 guns. For now get an outdoor gun and buy a cheapo Aftermath with the intention of running that as a CQB gun. The innards of the aftermath are pretty solid, just the externals are a bit "meh" but downgrading to an M80 or M90 spring to lessen the wear on it and making sure you're under CQB limits is good enough for the short term until you decide to buy another "better" CQB gun. Also note that the difference between 270 FPS and 330 FPS isn't that much when your target is like 20-30 feet away at most. It's fractions of a second difference in time to target if you do the math.

Isn't it all just personal preference anyway. Should I buy the new Ford Mustang or the Chevy Camero? You pick for me. Well I voted for him anyway.
