Maruzen APS-2 Spring Question

Hello.... As you can see in my picture I have an APS-2, Its great, I really like it but It shoots Hot... Very hot...... Like don't even bother taking it out to the field hot....

So I was thinking of downgrading the spring to shoot around 450 fps..... I have checked around but have been unable to locate any sort of Spring / FPS chart specific to the APS-2. In my reading I have found that people report about 450 FPS with 140 and 150% springs (FF or Laylax I don't know). Does anyone have practical experience that they can share....

Thanks in advance,

One of my teammates has a VSR-10 with a laylax 120,a tightbore barrel and aftermarket piston and piston head, he shoots 410 fps, so you might want to buy the step up, the laylax 140. I don't know what kind of fps you will get out of it thought, but I guess around 450...

If you wanted to experiment you could take a pair or wire snips and cut off one ring of spring coils at a time until you got to the velocity you want.

also more info here on Laylax (First Factory) springs:

First up, spring rating and FPS (Courtesy of Airsoft Dynamics):

* 110SP - Approximately 110m/s with 0.2g BB.(361 fps)
* 120SP - Approximately 120m/s with 0.2g BB.(393 fps)
* 130SP - Approximately 130m/s with 0.2g BB.(426 fps)
* 150SP - Approximately 150m/s with 0.2g BB.(492 fps)
