Sorbo Pad question

I have a high-stress setup in a V2 gearbox so I'm wanting to get this a Sorbo pad to give the gearbox a longer life. ( http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1354 ).

I've heard you need to make modifications to get these things on, and even then there is risk that it will fall off, badly damaging the gearbox. I was thinking that could easily be solved with superglue but I don't want to do anything rash, anybody have any experience with them?

The other option is to get the MASK cylinder head with the pad already on, (http://www.airsoftparts.ca/store2/in...oducts_id=1317) But I'd rather not pay the extra money, especially because I already have an upgraded cylinder head and I don't know if the MASK one would be as good.

It's better to get the ARS one, but if you just want the sorbo pad, remove the rubber pad off of the cylinder head. Make sure to remove all of the old glue and clean the cylinder head very well. Right before installing the pad, rub the cylinder head with alcohol just to give it that extra clean. Then fit on the sorbo pad and clamp it down for about 15 mins. Most of the time, it's the rubber piece from the sorbo pad that falls off and causes the jams. You might have to remove the second last and part of the third tooth from the piston for the sector gear to clear.
