WE Tech Hi capa 5.1k metal receiver?

Just bought the we hi capa 5.1 k (government model) pistol. The clear plastic lower receiver, is going to be a pain in the ass in the long run, n i can't stand the plastic anyways. I searched around the net couldn't find any replacement parts for it. Does anyone know where i can purchase one, or get it replaced? i heard tm has some that are compatible? if so any suggestions?

Thanks

Without being age verified you won't get any help here with buying receivers or guns.

Ditto to Sequential. If anyone knows of a better lower receiver I'm looking for one that wont crack so easily.

freedom art, is probably one of the best minor/near no modification is needed to get it working on the gun.

Shooters Design, Freedom Art, Prog4/Illusion Kinetics, they all make lower frames for the Hi-Capa. Keep in mind this is the restricted portion and will most likely be stopped at the border.

I have a Freedom Art one, it's good but required minor modification to get things running smoothly. I'm basing this off a TM hi capa though, no idea what the tolerances and fitment will be like for a clone.

Contact Illusion about getting a stock TM one (cheaper, but still good), or an aftermarket one (more expensive).

Tokyo Marui, and anything compatible. Keep in mind, these are restricted components.

Not so sure about that... every single Freedom Art frame I've ever installed required modification. I've installed a dozen of them.

I don't mean to revive an old thread, but we're in 2015 now, so are these "restricted" components now un-restricted? I mean, we're allowed to import full metal guns now, right? the laws changed sometime in the last year or so? (I haven't looked at airsoft for the last 4-5 years).

thanks!

Not pistols (most at any rate)
As a basic it must shoot above 366fps and below 500fps.
all in all most long guns will get in. The pistols that are comming in are modified to fire high enough. Normally youll seem em sold with silencers to hide the long inner barrels they put in them to boost the fps enough to cross the border. Look at the WE pistols at TA as an example. If you want a full metal pistol best bet is to buy in canada. Rifles you can source outside but atvthe current exchange rate there are not any savings to be had.
ordering a metal lower or pistol frame or the upper from a mac11 or other guns where the upper is restricted or even pistol barrels (outers) under 110mm (prety sure thats the length at least) will be considered restricted as always.
so to summerize, most everything that was restricted is restricted aside from full guns shooting above 366 and below 500.
you can say import a tm vsr 10, but will have to have it upgraded and then have some documentation stating the gun has been upgraded to comply with canadian import laws and the tested velocity and such.

Ahhh... that's why i see them all with silencers now.... thanks

but then i suppose replacement components (like slides or lower frames/receivers) should be a non issue, then. its not like i'd be importing a WHOLE pistol... right?
