Question M1 carbine upgrades?

I just wanted to know if there were any upgrades for my marushin 8mm m1 carbine? I also wanted to know if I could use any other gas beside 134a?

Thanks

There are no performance upgrade parts for the M1. I've used Propane in my old one in the past however it put it too hot for field use.
I have seen scope mounts, scopes as really only the other external parts. If you really wanted to invest some time/money I have heard of people modding the folding paratrooper stock to fit the gun.
