Scar vs m4

Hey guys, I'm in he market for a new assual rifle, and I'm torn between these two. First is the king arms colt m4. It is fully metal, looks good shoot around 360 and would be able to take standard m4 mags, (this would be nice because I currently have another m4 and would like to be able to use either mag for either gun).
The second is the scar h by echo 1. This gun looks beautiful, a lot of metal, and isn't just another m4. The only problem is, I don think this gun can take standard m4 mags so I would have to buy a complete new set.
I want the gun to be reliable and accurate (it is going to be more of a DMR).
Any help would be great thanks.

if you want a scar, get VFC.
/ thread

VFC makes some great stuff. Take a look at their M4s too.

Once you get age verified, you can have access to a ton of VFC stuff. Their external quality is top notch, and while i heard that their internals leave some to scratch their head, they are supposedly quite reliable.

But that is the beauty of after-market internal upgrades: if you don't feel comfortable with the stock internals, improve them. VFC is compatible with aftermarket stuff.

Their SCARs are supposed to be the most accurate representations on the market to date.

I've got the vfc scar L and G&G m4 cqb-r. I prefer my scar, good product, good rate, accuracy, don't need to upgrade this airsoft gun. I use it outdoor and in cqb. The only problem is with the hinge for the stock , but it's between 8 and 20$ if you buy it in Asia or in Canada. If you take a scar take a vfc!

Believe me man, if I had the money to drop on a vfc , I'd do it on a heartbeat! Sadly , I don't... However I know that the echo1 scar h is a clone of the vfc scar, do you think that would be any good?

I've got 2 VFC guns: a SCAR-L and an HK416 and I love both of them. I would say the VFC SCAR is the best one of the best, if not the best, SCAR out there, and I love my 416 as well, also considered the best AEG 416. KA 68 rounders work in both of these so they have good mag compatibility. I would recommend going to a game and seeing if it's possible to try out both an M4 and a SCAR, it'll give you an idea of which you would prefer.

I have an m4 right now, but I just don't know what to get next. Man I wish I could get a vfc though...

Echo 1 rebrands gun, they don't make guns... That scar is a Dboys rebrand which is a clone of the CA scar.

I had a VFC 416 what a piece of crap I will never buy another VFC again it was a very expensive lesson to learn. I know alot of people will say they look awesome and they do. If you want to hang it on your wall and look at it thats great. The internals are garbage, I had to replace the cut off lever and the selector plate and the thing still would get stuck in full auto. I also have a TM G36 replaced almost every piece internally on that and NEVER had a problem. I have a King Arms now and it works flawless! No Mods needed just buy the King Arms and Shoot it period.

Scar H --> Same internals as Scar L, can't find mags, mags don'T fit in ''normal'' mag pouches... The only difference between the scar H and L from VFC is the ''caliber'' they got the same guts

you are my friend, a not lucky guy! VFC is well known for reliable guns same as TM ... you got lemons maybe. BTW my friend's king arms M4 got a lot of problem so... you can't only make your mind on ONE experience.

But I thought that I heard that the scar l has wiring issues (when you fold the stock they are visible, and the get chewed up, where as in the scar h didn't have that problem). I wouldn't mind getting a scar l , but they're all out of stock

I'm not sure about the vfc, but the dboys/echo 1 has a very poorly designed lower receiver, where you have to "pry" the gearbox out, and the fire selector is a pita.

the VFC scars don't have wires coming through the stocks actually. They have instead a set of metal contacts tight on the hinge of the stock that connects the battery inside the stock to the mechbox.

here's what I mean:
