ICS split gearbox into any metal receiver?
I just want ICS split gearbox into CA or G&P metal receiver and I'd like to know if thats possible without any hassle or effecting the gun's function?
Simply, I want to know if ICS split gearbox has different outer dimention and such....like selector plate? Thanks for your help. |

Do your search, it was discussed at least 5 times by myself alone...

I believe the ICS M4 receivers are slightly longer to accommodate the split gearbox. So no, you cannot use a CA or G&P receiver.

It's a no go. ICS use a proprietary gearbox shell that won't fit into any other brand of receiver. Same as you can't use a standard gearbox into an ICS receiver.

if you can find one. Prowin (PGC) makes a split gearbox designed to fit into TM styled bodies. i have one in my VFC416. it's great little gearbox, but it does have a few quirks with it. other than that, your only option would be to get an ICS.
