WE AWSS Gen 4 + Open Bolt + CO2?
As the title states, I'm interested in the survivability and reliability of a Gen4 AWSS M4 with an open bolt conversion being run on CO2. Need as much information and experience as possible.
Thanks in advance

I'm wanted to know this too. How are the mags durability and leakage for co2 compared to green gas?

From personal experience the co2 mags leak just as much as the green gas mags.

Why are we having another thread on Open Chamber?
We have an OC discussion one already. As for the gun running in CO2... let me put it this way, pot metal + 130psi (propane) = bad for mid-long term (10-16k life expectancy for internal) pot metal + 150psi (regulated co2) =bad overall If you want to run long term on CO2 I highly suggest you replace all the moving parts with steel. -Bolt Carrier -Hammer -Disconnector aka 'Sear' for those who have no idea what they're talking about -Trigger -Valve Release Assembly aka Firing Pin -Valve Locker -Nozzle (add the iHop system to help strengthen the nozzle port) |

Hey Kull,
I've contacted Ra tech and they said that they won't be selling the ihop system. How did you go about procuring one for yourself? |

Except WE m16A1, the upper receiver are all identical All WE AR-15 lower Receiver are identical There's no difference between getting an AWSS converted to Open Chamber and buying an Open Chamber one. |

Anyone try the I-Hop then? Is it just a bucking (18 bucks for a bucking O.o?)? How does it compare to the Falcon 80 Degree Bucking? Would that be any useful, even if you don't use the steel bolt?

It NOT JUST A BUCKING LIKE I SAID ABOVE The reason I like it better than other H shape bucking is that, it reinforces the plastic nozzle port. For those who knows, the nozzle port is usually the first to go when it breaks. |
