Motor grip-to-gearbox attachment screws?
Hi guys,
The screws in one of my (G&G) M4s that attach the grip to the gearbox are beginning to get a little slippy/raw. Only two were ever included in the first place, and so I'd like to have some replacements on hand. Anyone know what the exact spec of this screw is? Thanks |

same as the ones holding your computer tower together.

its an M3 size screw. one from an old floppy drive or CD drive will fit perfectly. I had a box of various computer screws lying around so it wasn't a huge issue.
(it took me a bit of google-fu to find the answer as well) |

Wow, thanks guys!
I tossed out the last of my computer towers (gave my parents a watercooled PC, even taught my dad how to refill the cooling system) a few years ago in favour of notebooks... but I just did some digging around and one thing that *didn't* get touched by a few spring cleanings was a small box full of screws and connector cables, and sure enough, some M3s. I knew this stuff would come in handy some day... Cheers |

FWIW, Polar Star guns use M3, .5 thread pitch, x 8mm. Don't know if that's the standard, but it's somewhere to start.

M3 x 20mm
Nearly all Screws on a Gearbox are M3. (metric). You can find them on ebay. |
