Outer/inner barrel question

Anyone know if a 509mm inner barrel will fit inside this outer barrel: http://www.waridiot.com/index_eprodu...roducts_id=194 without anything protruding out?

Well... 20" is 508mm, and the back end of the Barrel isn't counted as the 20" (where it sits IN the receiver). So you're cutting it very close, but it should fit. :\

Mind you, I always fuck up barrel measurements, someone else chime in?

I believe when I had an SPR, a 509mm fit exactly.

Although, it's been a long time since I had it, so I could be totally wrong. I did ultimately end up running a 650mm through it anyways. LOL But I do remember at one point having a 509mm in there.

Thanks for the advice. Also, does the flashhider bit screw off if I wanted to add a silencer or is the barrel one piece?

Come again? Transmission unclear...

There is an SPR-specific suppressor that mounts directly to the unique SPR flash hider.... if that answers the question you were trying to ask...

Doh. Nevermind. I just looked at the actual product you were linking to. It's not a Mk12 barrel, w hich I'd assumed it was.

Sorry, I can't answer your question from knowledge, but looking at the photos, it looks like the front end can separate just behind the fluting.

looks like that flashhider is one piece with the 5 or so inchs of barrel and it unscrews where the gasblock would sit...

so your silencer dreams might be a little shattered... unless you want to custom perma mount something over the flashider outterbarrel section there... like a silencer/shroud/extension kinda thing...

as for length.. 20inchs is longer then the MK12 mod1 SPR front end/flash hider I have... and a 509 JUST fits to the end of the flashhider.

OK thanks for the confirmation! That's pretty much all I needed to hear. I guess ironically enough I won't be running a silencer in my latest AEG build.
