Echo1 M249 newbie upgrade planning
hey everyone! I'm somewhat inept at forum communication so hopefully I'm not just sounding completely stupid here, but I have been researching as much as possible so when I finally get enough saved up I can hit the ground running, so to speak.
the gun that I would prefer is the echo1 m249 para, but when I e-mailed the store about the gun's internals I was told that the gun is outfitted with a 430fps spring but the internals are stock and weren't meant to keep up with the spring. however I have read that a few people have used m150 springs in other versions such as A&K and it's run them perfectly with stock parts, so I'm a little uncertain.
in a perfect world I would like to be shooting around 400fps, and 20+ bb's/sec(nothing crazy, definitely under 30), so either way I expect to replace the spring, having selected an element m115, and a guarder sp110 for a decent variation. I am already thinking of adding a sector clip, deans connectors, moving the battery into the box mag, and getting a bigger battery although I'm a little lost on that one, possibly lipo but I have heard of the issues with them so it's not totally necessary
obviously being mostly new I could very well be completely overestimating what can be achieved reliably, but any suggestions for upgrade parts, additional mods, or any advice really to help increase the consistency and longevity of my future gun/future in airsoft would be greatly appreciated!
