We PDW Open Bolt Question: Not Shooting Hard Bullets Flopping
Hey Guys
OK so I just recently installed the Open Bolt System on my PDW and I'm not sure what the problem is but the bullets aren't shooting as hard as before. When I had the Bras System installed it shot really hard. Now that I have the Open Bolt System installed its just shooting half that much not even. My KWA USP45 shoots harder than this, I did a comparison. So I have a good feeling there's a problem somewhere. Facts: - Have not touched the Hop Up yet. I'm shooting this in my basement so its a pretty small, I don't think the hop up will affect the shots one bit. - Cleaned Barrel before installing. Should be a smooth ride for the BBS - Gun has been lubed up before shooting. Bolt moves smoothly - Its not that cold in my basement. If it was the cold my USP45 would be affected. - Magazines used is a brand new Open Bolt PDW and a converted M4. Weird thing is the converted M4 shoots much better. - Propane Tank is close to empty but I used this on my USP 45 as well and it was fine. - Full Auto more Floppy Bullets. Anyone have any ideas on what I can do? Or what the problem is? Thank you guys in advance Cheers S |

When you changed from closed bolt to open bolt, am I correct to assume you changed out the hop unit and inner barrel as well? The open bolt hop up is different from the closed bolt.

I turned down the hop up and it is shooting fine now. Not as hard as the Closed Bolt but its shooting better.
I never would have guessed because it was new and I didn't think the hop up would affect the shots like that. Appreciate the post guys thanks |
