Need feedback in choosing my next Airsoft AEG!

I already have my Classic Army SCAR-L, but I feel there's need for change. I won't be selling her, but I wil buy a new gun. The only problem is; I don't know what to buy. I'm stumped.

My price range is from 400$ - 600$. I already have a grenade launcher and a backup, so I'm set on getting a rifle and not a secondary.
Im a fan of 'unique' guns; Tar/SCAR/HK416/Masada etc. I am NOT a fan of basic M4/AK/M16 variants.
I want a gun that would require little internal modifications/replacements, or be out of the box ready.

Thanks for the feedback guys,

I'd say F2000 or Masada. Those will let you keep your current mags and use them. Or a G36.
Also maybe the Real Sword Type 56 or 97. I know the 56 is an AK type, but the build is said to be outstanding and they're pretty much ready out of the box.

You could also look into an SMG. Like a UMP or P90 or MP5.

Bullpups like the L85 or Steyr AUG are also an option.

The Echo 1 XCR is quite a unique gun, and it fits your price range.

ICS L85? Or FA MAS (pick a company that is available for you).

I have an Xcr and all did was do a tight bore barrel and the thing shoots like a dream. It's oem from vfc so you don't need to upgrade the internals. I love it.

Making the switch to a GBBR might be interesting if you're stumped, otherwise look into a P90.

I really do like the Masada(A&K or Magpul?) and the G&G F2000, and the Ares TAR. Just wondering what you would reccomend between those three.

The Magpul Masada is actually made by ARES, so the internals would be similar to the Tar's. The A&K is quite behind these guns internal quality wise, but if you can upgrade, there's an option.

Three of these guns (Tar, f2000, Magpul) have easily accessibly to change FPS quickly, so thats a plus for switching between indoors and outdoors.

The ARES guns do have some propreitary parts though, so watch out when upgrading. In the end, it depends on what you want since there are all pretty good guns.

My favourite are my F2000 twins. Solid, extremely quiet, adjustable fps, have good range, and take m4 mags. The F2000 has a nice cycle rate too. Mine average around 14-15 rounds a second / stock gun on a 9.6v. I have a P90 as well which is very nice, and performs just as good. Echo1 socom 16's are very nice as well. They don’t take m4 mags, but are very solid, and I can't believe the range and accuracy I get with it. I wasn't sure when I was buying it, but fell in love once i used it. All 3 should be in your price range, and I recommend them from personal experience.

Thank you for all the feedback guys, I appreciate it a lot.
What upgrades would you do(internally) to the A&K Masada, and how good are the internals out of the box. The same goes for the TAR/F2000.
I've heard that the A&K Masada needs to be upgraded internally, slightly. The TAR and F2000 do have the bullpup style - longer inner barrel without sacrificing length, but a few people I know tell me to avoid G&G - I also heard a rumor about feeding probalems with the F2000 for some mags; I usuaully play with P/E-Mags.

And to the people reccomending the type 96 - I've already tried it out, but I wasn't to crazy about it. I think it's just the overall look to the gun, it's very odd(my opinion). I would not doubt it that it is a good gun overall, but it's price is a bit out of my range.

Well Pmags and Emags wont fit into an F2000, and Ive heard that metal stannag mags can sometimes get ripped in two inside the mag well
