King Arms M4 + KA Magazine
If anyone here have a recent King Arms M4A1 ( bought it this year and with the bolt catch working) and use King Arms 68 rounds metal Magazine, can you tell me if it fit well in it, if the magazines are not too loose inside the receiver.
I want to buy new KA mags because my old KA 68 rnds metal doesn't work in my KA M4A1 ( yeah that's strange, but my M4 is recent and tghe mag are 2 1/2 years old, maybe this is a new version of receiver), so please tell me before I buy 5 magazines for nothing. Thank you!!

KA mags are known to be loose and require some light modifications in order to fit; I had to pry the notch where the mag catch fits and add a little bit of tape on mine.
I bought MAG magazines instead, plastic. They fit perfectly. |

Don't buy a bunch of mags for a King Arms M4 before you make sure the mags actually fit. I've had several King Arms M's, and they all were hit or miss for mag compatibility. I spent almost $600 US on an M7A1, and the mag that shipped in the box didn't even fit in the gun.

KA M4 mags works fine on my KA Larue rifle. I had to do what MultipleParadox did, except the tape part.

My G&P midcaps and PMAG midcaps (PTS, not cheap Green Label) are incredibly tight in my KA body.

KA mags are known to need modifications in order to be able to feed in a KA m4. I KNOW ITS STUPID
but thats how it is So id stay away from KA mags because their mags never feed in their own branded guns. unless some sort of modifcation is done to it. no perfect fit, ive owned 5 of them and all of them had this issue.

I have a new KA m4 with a working bolt catch, and KA 68 rounders. They have a tiny bit of wobble but it's not too bad. About as much as the included highcap. Pmags fit perfectly though.
(and SRC mags wobble like crazy) |

Is their cheap mags than MAG mags? A mid cap I can dissasemble and clean. I'm looking at star/ares mid caps and matrix metal mids.

I heard that you can't take apart the MAG mags, is it true?

the King Arms m4 itself makes the mags fit a little odd. if your gun is stock, look in the mag well and take a popsicle stick or something not sharp but is thin and push the wiring a little deeper into the receiver.
Also, unscrew the mag release and rotate the button about 180 degrees and screw it back on. I did that with mine and it fixed all my mag issues. I have 5 KA midcaps and they all fit and feed perfectly. gamed with them earlier today and I prefer them to the hi-caps. I haven't used the 68rnd mags so I can only give my opinion on the midcaps.
