AK104 front sight

I'm looking for an ak104 front sight but have been unsuccessful. So i'm just wondering, has anyone had any experience with welding standard ak front sight onto the gasblock?

They're not exactly the same that way unfortunately.

I recall seeing them on RSOV but it seems they aren't stocking them anymore.

I'll keep an eye out.

I've looked at that already but the front set not compatible with my King arms RAS. When I asked uncompany about the LCT front sight, they said it doesn't fit on marui aks.

LCT won't fit

LCT won't fit at all, I know this from personal experience. LCT uses a more realistic design and is modeled after the CA, VFC design. It's compatible with both of those. In order to use LCT gas blocks, you need an LCT gas tube.

Land Arms is the way to go in my opinion dude, again, based on personal experience. It is compatible with King Arms gas tube/rear sight block assemblies provided you get their gas tube with it. This little number is a perfect fit for what you're looking for.

It will mount on TM, SRC, King Arms, G&P and Kraken models no problem. The only issue will be the finish on the different metals. Land Arms uses a metal that mimics the finish of steel, where as King Arms does not. They use a smooth aluminum with a smooth matte finish.

Hope that helps.

And don't worry about Ebairsoft. I've dealt with them 5 times, and only once had an issue. They're under a different owner now who seems to know what he's doing.

Oh i see. However i'd still have a full ak47 length outer/inner barrel. Is it possible to mod the barrel? I haven't been able to find a shorter length barrel that fits marui aks. As for the gas tube, is not it possible to use the , landarms Ak104 front sight with a king arms ultimak rail?

Landarms stuff is actually blued steel.

I bought one of those a while ago, cut it down and welded it to fit a custom project I was working on.

I see. Would you happen to have a tutorial on how to shorten an ak barrel? Maybe i should just buy an LCT ak104 instead of building one.

Step 1: Cut the barrel from the back

Step 2: Drill a new hole and adjust everything else on the front of the gun to fit where you want it to.
