Don't Buy These Mesh Goggles
DO NOT BUY THESE
Bought a set on eBay and they were defective when I got them. The lens was popping out and looked like someone used a little bit of glue to stop it from happening. This obviously failed, and they would be dangerous to actually use. They feel like they were made to fit a child, and there is a gap on the bottom edge big enough for a BB to make it through. With almost 100 percent consistency, almost everything I have bought that was made in China has been defective in some way. In the past, I have been somewhat cautious about buying things that are made in China. The last thing I bought was a faceplate for my cell phone, which didn't come with the adhesive required to install it. The thing before that was a tactical vest which made my house smell like a Chinese chemical waste processing facility for a week. The list goes on and these goggles just added to it. Maybe change the thread title to the actual product name, as I'm sure this review doesn't apply to every single "Mesh goggle" made..

There was no brand name. They didn't even come in a package, just a padded box.

Never buy mesh, there's plenty of goggles that dont fog up in the market.
if a bb shatters on mesh it's going straight into your eyes. |

What is the advantage of mesh exactly?

What he said. Why would you risk the chance of having a bb shattering in your eyes. And before you go saying, why not put a pair of glasses on underneath ....... well what's the point than. Use paintball or (if your field approves of them) ballistic rating goggles. Notice how I said goggles and not glasses. I'm not a big fan of glasses. I know soutthedoggie has people wearing them on his vids but that's in Scotland and they have different rules there.

You actually sound surprised... we are talking about a country where people poison baby formula with melamine to make more money...
WHAT exactly were you expecting from the kingdome of cheap knock offs... certified/rated security eye protection? Wow in our line of "business"... (hurling small objects at ludicrously Hi velocity at each other!!!) I'm always flabbergasted that anyone would even consider buying anything else then brand name balistic goggles... ESS and so forth... I'm just glad you didn't get hurt brah! Thanks for the heads up... might get a newb or two to think before buying Cheers

I still dont understand why people feel they can cheep out on their eye protection. Remember folks eye protection may be about $50.00 for a good pair of goggles. But they will last you your entire airsofting life, and keep your (eye)balls safe.
Glad you didn't try them in a game though. |

I own these and they fog like crazy. Pulled the vents out of the top and bottom which stopped the fogging. They are still bulky though.

I wish I still had the picture of these goggles being tested at the field here. The BB shattering and shrapnel aside, we had BBs nearly going through, or at least caving it in and having sharp metal pointed right at your eye. These were banned from our field afterwards.

Uh oh lol, I've been using those mesh goggles for awhile now, and been shot in the eyes twice. Guess I'm lucky.
