ESS CDI Max

New review up on my site check it out (link after the excerpt).

Quote:
Having long used a pair of Oakley Gascans as range glasses and for anything else that may require my eyes being protected outside of work I decided it was time for a change. I was always worried about ruining the lenses in my Gascans and wished they made a model that had removable lenses. The reason they were my favorite was both fit and that they are optically corrected in both the x and y plane. At SHOT Show 2011 I meandered over to the ESS booth to get a run through of their new products. The first of the two products I was run through was the CDI Max and I instantly knew this was to be my Oakley replacement. Knowing that Oakley owns ESS also helped because I knew the lens would be corrected the same as the Oakleys.

Haha. I am giving you the evil eye through the computer. On the plus side I have scheduled content ready which is a nice change of pace. I just wish you lived closer so I could stop using a timer for shooting.

Excellent review Bean. I have been considering the CDI glasses for a bit now. Think you just sold me on them, thanks!

Both supressor and crossbow frames are up this week. They come as a set.

Question: How do the regular CDI compare to the ICE 2.0, sizewise? I'm having Lasik next monday and i'll need a pair of non-Rx sunglasses...

Unfortunately I cant tell you as I only have the max and suppressors. Do you have a larger sized head or a smaller one? I know the majority of people who had ICE and switched to the Suppressor preferred the Suppressor.

I would say my head is rather small The ICE are slightly too large for me but i'm still pretty well protected even with a tiny gap on each side. The vertical size of the lens is also slightly too big as it covers my eyebrows.

Good for protection at the range or when reloading but not exactly classy as regular sunglasses.
