Get the AEG. GHK does not have a good trackrecord.

Same gun externally, comes down to whether you want an AEG or a GBB. There are literally hundreds of threads on this question.

More like. Do you want an AEG of moderate quality or a GBB of abysmal quality. The GHK is considered to be a wall hanger largely due to the absolute piss poor manufacturing of their mags. With multiple users experiencing failures within the first 10 gas cycles. So my advice would be get age verified. Cheers. |

LCT actually isnt that moderate their shit is pretty legit, well made in my opinion. dunno man id go for the LCT, GHK kinda sucks, my friend had the AK 105 by GHK and its crap, it broke and he threw it out not even worth for wall hanging LOL

No one really has any information about the GHK AKM GBBR yet... so I don't know why people are shitting on it. Their AKS-74 line blew, but I haven't seen any thorough reviews of the AKM yet.

Ok, this is a reasonable point. I just consider it illogical to ignore the track record of this company, I will however concede to you that no one has any reliable information up and avaliable thus we are forced to wait. But I also will stress that recommending such an unproven piece from a company with the aforementioned track record to a novice (by all appearances) is ill advised. Especially when the AKM's magazine is more complex in design than it's predecessor. Let's keep this discussion in context and consider that the gent asking for a recommendation is a "new" player. Lastly, get out to a game and get age verified. |

Can't comment on that specific LCT....but will comment on the GHK.
It's a beautiful solid build....that functions like shit. Absolutely gorgeous sitting in the corner though. The mags are a crappy/weak design. The nozzle/bolt are ok...some parts are a bit thin (i.e. breakage)...but the bolt/spring is retardly heavy for the system (i.e. it's not balanced well to actually help the gun to function). Unless I picked one up to be a wall hanger...or to run off of constant air...I wouldn't get one. |

tys are you talking about the old GHK or the new one that just came out cause he's asking about the new one. They claim those issues are fixed in their new one, But with their track record I wouldn't jump to be a test dummy on any new model from them.
@OP where are you located? Where are you planning on buying these? Is this you first/only airsoftgun?

Old one I suppose. Haven't fiddled with the new platform. Sorry for any confusion.

GHK AK74 series sucks
GHK PDW Ver 1 sucks GHK PDW Ver 2 is ok GHK PDW Ver 3 is reportedly better than WE according to folks in Taiwan (Arms-Cool) GHK AK (so far is the best one, only problem is the fill valve could break if you over tighten after reassembly as well as plastic feedlip breaking. The mags are design to be durable....aside from feedlip) Keep in mind LCT AEG uses Cyma internal. IMHO, LCT (external) is better than most AK Firearm external (they dont leave scratch mark easily) |

like Kullwarrior said in the above post the LCT are awesome externally but if you really want a GBBR AK why not go for the Daytona/LCT combo, it's considered a GBBR and the bonus part is that you can use a AEG mags and you can use the GBBR in the winter

If I had a choice, I would go the AEG way. Based on other threads a few are recommending AEG's for long term use. I am new to Airsoft but hope it helps.
