new tm 1911 variant?
found this on a japanese blog, neat to see them reusing the detonics slide.
EDIT: here's the marui page for it. http://www.tokyo-marui.co.jp/product...e_w/index.html

Redwolf posted pictures earlier this week on FB, no info as usual.
airsoftnews.eu hasn't posted on it yet. BUT http://www.airsoftnews.fr/2011/02/25...arrior-45-gbb/ I always love smaller frames, heck I love 1911s period, but I HATE that trigger. |

Nice to see TM releasing a 1911 that comes with the extended magwell. But they're totally ripping off my style, I've been rocking a full frame with a detonics slide and a magwell for while now.
I'm looking forward to shooter's design metal bodies for this, a metal lower frame with a square triggerguard would be sweet, I can make Brad Pitt's 1911 from Seven

Ooo I must have those rear sights! Detonics sights are so useless!

You can also outfit it with the new 40 round TM mag too! They had it on a Hyper Douraku video posted on the zero one UK forum and it fit the TM foliage warrior pistol.

The 40 round mag is out!?
And of course it would fit the foliage warrior... it should fit anything TM that takes a 1911 mag, even a detonics frame should be able to accept it.

I notice that TM is doing a lot of "mixing and matching" with existing products nowadays, as opposed to constantly making new products.

at least we know that TM is coming with a few new models in the near future ... *cough" XDm ... M&P ...HK45 *cough* I want *cough*. 1911s are very good sellers though, can't blame them. |

Looks more like they ruined a perfectly good 1911 style by turning it more into a Hi Capa.

They didn't ruin anything... It's not like they've stopped making 1911a1s in favour of churning these out. Edit: Actually I'm not even sure what you're going on about. The only thing Hicapaish about this release is the trigger guard.
