GBB 1911 compensator ?

Hi all !

So, I'm about receive my WE 1911 KnightHawk.
So, I wanted to add a compensator to it, but I don't know how !
Do I need to have a 14mm threaded barrel to add it on ?

Thanks !

Yes you do. It wont magically stick to the barrel. Unless the WE you're getting comes with a threaded barrel already on it, some of the we guns come with the thread adapter.

Airsoftparts has this piece that you be interested in.

If it's a bushing-type compensator, it'll be held by the said bushing wich most WE 1911 have.

depends on the compensator, some are designed to go on threading some aren't (for pistols that is)

Thanks guys, but I found a comp at airsoft parts which replaces the 1911 bushing, it just "clamps" on the 1911's front barrel bushing !

The punisher one replaces the bushing, it only fits WE tho, won't fit ARMY or TM, the notch inside the slide on the ARMY and TM is located deeper inside than on the WE which has it closer to the front of the slide.

If you dremel the notch wider in the direction of the front of the slide it will fit, do it little by little and keep checking if it fits to ensure a tight fit.

*edit* It also fit my SD STI Executive slide snugly as well.

Well it's all a question of taste I guess... haven't seen the first one since way back when it came out. Should probably download it but back when I was a fanboy of the comic book and it came out, I remember being really disapointed...
