The "APS" AEGs.

Has anyone tested those APS AEGs?

They're EBB, Lipo-ready, full metal, shoots 430 FPS... they look awesome but I've never heard about them.

If anyone has info about it, please share!

i believe there is already a thread on this. But iuno where. Hopefully someone can direct us there lol. anyways i have one and i have to say it is awesome. Their website is fully up and running. mines shot about 10,000 rounds and its still good. i replaced the stock internal parts half way. The stock green plastic stuff kinda sucks. Well the piston is actually pretty tough. Its still okay after all those rounds. I swapped the spring guide with a ball bearing one from Magicbox (taiwan brand that makes EBB aftermarket parts) and also the cylinder & piston head with also the same brand.
The blowback feature and the working bolt catch is kind of a cool gimmick its full metal! Oh and i also switched the motor to a torque motor. But there is a lack of trades.....

Hope this helps

Edit: haha ok cool someone already posted the links

From what I've heard they've been around a long time. Just doing paintball stuff, and now they've gone to airsoft as well.
A store around here got a bunch of them, and I think at least 50% if not more of them were bad. They all came with warranties but I hear they're not giving the warranty offer any more.
The ones around here couldn't handle 9.6v batteries, they basically fried the internals. I also think there was problems with the motors.

Possibly, I don't really hear anything from Warcraft, kinda prefer not to go there since it's so out of the way and they've labeled 2 of my friends guns as something completely different. Where did you get yours btw?
All I know is for the price they're charging for their guns, I want me an APS AK as a second primary haha.

Yea man i really want the solid stock AK from APS. I've changed my APS M4 into a M16 now with a LaRue type front rail. That reminds me, i need to get a M16 length inner barrel....

Prices are a bit crazy though on MilSig its very close to King Arms and Classic Army pricing but these are not to their level.

They are pretty much cheap entry level although I haven't heard anything about the outer body breaking. I heard quite a bit about the internals were not that great.

Perhaps what got fried is just the motor or the fuse as lower end AEGs tend to use bad motors and fuses. I know back then with all the Cheap China stuff the gearbox itself would usually shred gears but after a few upgrades they should work fine

APS in asia is about $120 so that is around JG's price. A local shop here sells them for $365.99 + tax. its kinda expensive but then again its canadian prices.

The internals are "okay" but i've already replaced them. The motor i actually lost believe it or not lol. So i got a torque motor by element and it is doing much better than it was originally.
