Based on absolutely 0 hands on experience and plenty of hearsay, the TM has a faster, stronger motor, creakier externals, better range and ROF over the cybergun. So yea I say get the Cybergun.

TM Famas just cause it is TM a good buddy of mine has one. It is pretty ancient airsoft gun wise being atleast over 3 or 4 years old and it still runs on stock parts however he doesn't really game alot so that helps. But if you really lack money, go for the cybergun and let us know how it goes
just go on youtube and watch reviews on both guns. |

revised....
after reading other posts... TM is a great manufacturer.. I just did not like the body creek on the TM Famas SV from the foregrip when I had it, the plastic was not all that great. It's not like the Polymer blend stuff you get from ARES or Magpul PTS. Maybe go for a different bullpup design that has updated materials and internals? Cheers

Cybergun is all rebrands isn't it? I'd like to know who's the actual OEM for their FAMAS.

Yep, Cybergun = insanely overpriced repacks.
And their FAMAS is the crappy first gen of Jing Peng. Flee it. |

I read the cybergun had fps 370 while TM had 280/ Also I read the cybergun had greater accuracy. I am looking for a cybergun famas myself.

I say no FAMAS at all because they have been known to cause rage strokes by the people who work on them.
In the end though pick whatever one best suits your budgeting requirements.

as tokyo seven mentioned people who have worked on the famas almost set fire to thier guns. they are creaky, older model guns, that are a pain in the ass to work on, they use proprietary mags which are harder to find then most. the TM is well a TM it has some of their magic dust inside that works wonders, yes it has a lower fps, but that is because it needs to comply with their laws. the Cybergun is a rebranded piece of shyt. if your strapped for cash, or looking for a long haul project.....then go with it.

I worked on one FAMAS for close to 3 months.
It was the most frustrating time I've ever had with an AEG. In the end the motor had to be disassembled, re-machined on a motor lathe and the entire wiring on the the gun needed to be re-done in a way that made a bit more sense. |
