G&G + G&P Fustrations
I have looked everywhere and i cannot seam to find an answer. I have a G&G M4 Mechbox and i recently ordered a G&P Metal body from Ehobby. So i dissasembled the G&G and thought hey this will be pretty easy to install. The G&P Body did not come with a fire selector, so i removed the one from the g&G and installed it on the G&P body. Now while dropping in the gear box, the trigger pin will not go through the mechbox AND line up with the other side of the body hole. This goes for the rear body pin as well. The fire selector switch does not snap into place when i attempt to switch it from safe to semi to full auto either.
Any suggestions? Or do i need an all new mechbox to make this build complete? Thanks in advance. |

Most brands copy TM but most have different dimension and mixing them don't always work without modification. Best thing to do is get a G&P gearbox or just the shell and move the parts over.

G&P is G&P compatible.
G&G is TM compatible. Either get a new G&P mechbox or a new metal body... |

I have a G&P Troy metal body with a TM mech-box in it with no mods or fitment problems. So G&P is compatible with TM mech-boxs. Im thinking that G&G may not be 100% TM compatible but that mite be better answered by someone that owns and worked on G&G guns.

I worked on a G&G gearbox before and I get a *slight* feeling that the gearbox may not be 100% TM compatible. I'm basing this assumption on the proprietary ARL.
