Question Battery Recommendations?

Hey guys!

I'm going to purchase my FIRST AEG this weekend and I'm uncertain as to which particular battery I should get.

I'm going to purchase this AEG.

I know they recommend either a "7.4V / 11.1V Lithium Battery into Stock Pipe" , but I've come found a few and don't know which one would be appropriate.

Could someone please post a link as to which battery I should get from EHobby, please?

Thanks!

You'll want something similar to the King Arms 11.1v 1100mah LiPo. square sectioned rectangular battery.

Check airsoftparts.ca for specifics (sorry don't know ehobby's site very well).

Note...the link you referred to does list the max length (152mm)...but keep in mind that you're going to want a bit of space for wires/connectors in there too.

Also note that it says it comes with "T-Shape Type Connector Rear Wire" which I'm GUESSING they mean a DEANS connector. If they've done it right the male end is on the gun. Most stock tube lipos I've seen are mini Tamiya plugs...so you'll need to change the connector.

Thank you for the awesome reply. You've cleared up a lot of questions that I had.

I'm still somewhat confused as to what "KIND" of battery I should be looking at.

I realise it should be either a 7.4V / 11.1V Lithium Battery. I'm confused as to what kind of connector (related to my battery), I should be looking for.

Do I select a battery with a Tamiya connector (I'm guessing NO)? Or do I need a battery with a T (Dean) type of connector. I'm also confused as to what a MINI T connector is.

I can't purchase my battery from eHobby Asia, so my last alternative is RedWolf.

If someone could please help me find a battery I'd be VERY grateful and willing to name my first born after you!

According to the description it takes a "Fit to store up to 7.4V / 11.1V Lithium Battery into Stock Pipe"

http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/bb-batter...selection.html

either of those would fit. Based on what the website says for the AEG you listed, select the T Plug option

Deans connectors (T-plug) on the website comes in two sizes. So the mini T is just the smaller deans connector. The description for the AEG you listed only says T connector so I would guess its not the mini T
